Rotary supports the hospital in Głuchołazy
The donation responds to the needs of the hospital, which is dealing with difficulties in the aftermath of flooding. The beds are already in use on a hospital ward, bringing a tangible benefit to patients.
Director Paulina Firlej and Deputy Director for Medical Affairs Zygmuntem Koniecznym expressed their immense gratitude for the beds. Special thanks go to Christofferowi Ingves, President-nominee of RC Warszawa City for 2026–2027, who was the main sponsor of this initiative. Dr Christoffer Ingves is a respected and recognised specialist in plastic surgery and the author of numerous scientific papers. He is a familiar face from TVN Style’s programme ‘Życie bez wstydu’ (2016–2019). Dr Christoffer Ingves is Danish, but has Polish roots.
The meeting also addressed the hospital’s urgent staffing needs. The facility is seeking specialists in psychiatry, medical rehabilitation, cardiology and internal medicine.
